These terms govern your use of the ManageLoss website and, once launched, the Pro journal application (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What the Service is
ManageLoss provides risk-management calculators, educational articles and a trading journal. It is a tool only. We are not a broker, exchange, investment adviser or fund manager, and we do not execute trades or hold funds.
2. No financial advice
Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation or signal to buy or sell any asset. Calculations are estimates based on the numbers you enter and may not reflect fees, slippage, gaps or exchange rules. Trading crypto assets and securities involves a high risk of loss, including the loss of more than you invested when leverage is used. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.
3. Accuracy
We work to make the Service accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors, or that statistics and AI-generated reviews are complete or correct. Always verify important numbers independently.
4. Accounts
For the Pro journal you must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
5. Exchange connections
If you connect an exchange, you must use read-only API keys. You are responsible for the keys you create and for revoking them if needed. We are not responsible for actions taken on your exchange account outside the Service.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the seller of record and whose terms also apply. You can cancel at any time and the plan will continue until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled according to the refund terms shown at purchase and applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, scraping it at scale, reverse engineering it, or using it for unlawful purposes.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You keep ownership of the data you import, and you give us permission to process it to provide the Service to you.
9. Advertising and affiliate links
Free pages may include ads and affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you sign up with a third party through such a link, at no extra cost to you. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
12. Changes and termination
We may change the Service or these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction to be confirmed], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you other rights.
