This policy explains what personal information ManageLoss (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers our website and, once launched, our Pro journal application.
Information we collect
- Website usage data. Our servers and hosting provider automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps.
- Calculator inputs. Values you enter in the free calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us or stored.
- Preferences. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device.
- Early-access sign-up. If you join the waiting list, we collect your email address.
- Pro accounts. When the Pro journal launches, we will collect your email address, account details, the trade data you import or sync, and read-only exchange API keys if you choose to connect an exchange. API keys are stored encrypted, and we ask only for permissions that cannot trade or withdraw.
- Payments. Subscription payments are handled by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the seller. We do not store your card details.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and improve the website and the Pro journal.
- To generate your statistics and AI-written reviews of your trading, which are produced by processing your trade data with an AI service provider.
- To send service messages and, if you opted in, product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and to prevent fraud and abuse.
Advertising and affiliate links
Free pages of our website may show advertising and may contain affiliate links to exchanges and other services. Advertising and affiliate partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure and personalize ads. There are no ads inside the paid Pro application. Where required, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the product, such as hosting, email, payment, analytics and AI providers, under agreements that limit how they can use it, and where the law requires.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete your account and the data connected to it at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email info@webniv.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
ManageLoss is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
International transfers
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the product or by email.
